At a glance
Station templates help the app find a hideout station. Pixel checks help it recognize whether a game panel or dialog is open. Set up both against the window you will actually use.
Before you start
Finish the saved-window step in Set up your first run. Keep the game visible and clear of notifications, chat and overlays.
1. Prepare the hideout
Place Stash, Crafting Bench and Faustus near the waypoint with clear paths and separate labels. Include Harvest if your tree uses it.
Leave the hideout, travel back in, then stand still. Press Z if nameplates are hidden. Keep your character away from the labels.
2. Open station capture
Go to Help > Path of Rolling setup > Station templates and click Open Station capture wizard.
Capture the label requested by each step. Include a little padding around its dark highlight background, while keeping nearby labels outside the image.
3. Test each template
In Area Locations, use Test template match for the station. Walk to another position in the hideout and test again.
Example: a Stash template should still find Stash after you walk a short distance away. If it matches the wrong label or disappears, recapture a clearer label.
4. Prepare panel captures
Open Capture wizards and read Must-dos. Select the modules your workflow needs. Each module tells you exactly which panels to leave open.
For the first currency pixel batch, open the Currency stash on General and keep inventory open. For Bench capture, open Bench and inventory with stash closed. Follow the current wizard if its instructions differ for a particular step.
5. Check pins before capturing
Preview the relevant layout. A click pin must sit on its intended button; a sample point must sit on the panel area shown by the wizard.
Focus PoE yourself before pressing F9 when prompted. Leave the mouse and keyboard alone until the capture finishes and reports success or failure.
6. Repeat only the changed setup
After changing hideouts or moving stations, update station templates. After rearranging stash or shop tabs, update their tab locations. After changing resolution, recapture the images and check the full setup.
Check the result
Template tests find the intended stations from more than one standing position. Required capture modules finish successfully, and a small real run opens the expected panels.
If it does not work
Restore the saved window first. Check whether the failure names a template, click pin or panel pixel. Correct that target and retry the affected capture. Avoid resetting all personal setup for one misplaced pin.
